Space Shuttle Discovery Lift-off on October 23, at 11:38 am from Cape Canaveral.

Dear kKirby, I am travelling to Florida and wish to photo the space shuttle taking off on Monday 10th November 2008.I dont know where to take any photos from and have seen your photo.It seems to be quite a good shot.I have a 400mm lens which I can use.Could you tell me if it is possible to go where you took this photo and where did you take the photo? I do not wish to get into trouble for being in the wrong place and hope therefore you can help me out,with a great location.

The three best places to photograph a shuttle launch are Titusville along US-1, The Beach Line (SR 528) on the Banana River or Jetty Park at Port Canaveral depending on lighting at the time of launch. The Nov 11 launch is a night launch so any of those will work. Good Luck.
