Last Saturday I had the chance to watch the Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge (CTSCC) January Test Days and the Roar before the Rolex 24 at Daytona International Speedway. In preparation for the Fresh From Florida 200, part of the 2010 Speedweeks Schedule in Daytona Beach.

Florida thunderstorms can pop-up quickly as this storm did on Cocoa Beach. The light show can be great as long as you’re in a safe place.
Florida’s largest metro area Jacksonville is not what most people think of as tourist destination. However the waterfront downtown area, Jacksonville Landings shopping and entertainment district, is a fantastic place to spend the weekend.

I went to the Ft. Lauderdale Boat Show yesterday to see the worlds largest in the water boat show which spanned multiple locations.
Other venues include the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina, Hyatt Regency Pier 66 Hotel & Marina, Hall of Fame Marina and Las Olas Marina in Fort Lauderdale.
Daytona is known for NASCAR, Spring Break and Bike Week. Its also world famous jam-packed beaches you can drive on. But on this early Daytona Beach morning, a beachgoer has the Atlantic all to himself.
When you think of Florida you don’t think of skylines, but Downtown Tampa has one of the nicest in the southeast with a view of Tampa Bay and the Hillsborough River. Visitors and locals alike have plenty of things to do in Tampa like playing the slots at the Hard Rock Casino, or hitting the nightclubs in Ybor City. Wildlife lovers can hit Busch Gardens or the Florida Aquarium at down at the Port of Tampa. The Trolley offers transpiration throughout Tampa so once you get here, you can forget about having to drive around the city.
